Following the last discussion article on “technological doping”, the issue was dramatically spotlighted at the Swimming World Championships in Rome where it attracted considerable media coverage. Barely a race commentary passed without a reference to the different swimsuits and the alleged performance enhancing effects relative to each other.   So what is swimming’s solution to the controversy?
